Description:

A fungal disease causing irregular but often V shaped patches on the edges of leaves. The patches are initially reddish purple and turn brown with age and are usually 6-25 mm wide but may grow together to cover the whole leaf. Tiny black fruiting bodies appear on dead patches of leaves.

It can also attack petioles. fruit stalks and stolons.
